Stancil Tootle lives in Bainbridge, Georgia. He is a black man blind, living in rural Georgia. He stutters and is in long term recovery now for 31 years. His parents, brother, some children, grandchild, nieces and nephews are all blind and all have congenital cataracts. This has also made them generationally strong disability advocates. They were never allowed to use their disability to justify not going after and achieving their dreams.
